A jarring, slightly muted, Buzzcocks flavoured release of adrenalin that is driven by the trotting percussion rhythm of Tim, makes up the driving ‘Mutiny Girl’. The grimy lyrics are delivered with a slightly intoxicated lag by Dean, putting the finishes touches on an expressive release of retro punk.
‘She Rocka Rolla’, possesses more of an 80s rock vein, as provocative re-iteration of the song title adds to the simplicity of the number and also its effectiveness. More profile is given to the vocals and the sturdy backing vocals means that this element dominates the track. This rustic, backward gazing West London troupe oozes honesty and use simple life assessing lyrics to gritty effect. www.myspace.com/limozine Rating: 3.5/5
